PAM SCHOLEFIELD
As a mediator, Pam Scholefield brings her extensive first-hand construction law and industry experience to the table to effectively move disputes toward a solution crafted for the unique needs of the specific parties involved.
Pam has been practicing construction law since 1998 and is often sought out for complex cases involving disputes related to scope of work, change orders, delays, and quality of work. She is widely recognized for her knowledge of construction contracts and, for several years, taught the masters level Construction Claims class for the College of Civil Engineering at San Diego State University.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Pam worked as an engineer for General Electric (primarily in electrical distribution and controls), a career she began right out of the University of Florida, College of Engineering in 1984. Pam resigned from GE in 1994 in order to attend law school. During law school, she worked as an outside sales engineer and project manager for wholesale electrical distributors focusing on projects with contractors and end users.
Pam Scholefield holds a Mediation Certification from the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) for completing NCRC’s 40-hour formal training: The Theory and Practice of Mediation. She is licensed to practice law in California and Hawaii, and also holds a Professional Engineer’s License from the State of Colorado.
